Text messages from BookedBy9

BookedBy9 sends a text message only to a person who asked for one on a call and confirmed the number to send it to. This page explains how you opt in, what you receive, how often, and how to stop.

Texting is not live yet. BookedBy9 is completing carrier registration for its demo line. Until that is finished, the assistant does not offer texts and no texts are sent.

How you opt in

You opt in by voice, on a call with a BookedBy9 front desk. That includes our own demo line, (360) 648-7086, a browser call with the same assistant from this site once that is offered, and the lines we answer for subscribing businesses. Every call opens with a notice that you are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call is recorded, so your consent is on the recording.

Near the end of the call the assistant asks a direct question, for example: "Would you like me to text you the link? What is the best mobile number for that?" It reads all ten digits of the number back to you. The text is sent only if you then say yes. If you say no, or the number is not confirmed, nothing is sent.

There is no other way onto our list. We do not add numbers from any list, we do not buy numbers, nobody can opt you in on your behalf, and a text to one person never leads to a text to anyone else.

What you receive

• From the BookedBy9 demo line: one text after your call with the link to get started and a short recap.
• From a business's BookedBy9 line: one text confirming the estimate appointment you booked on the call: the date, the time, the address, and the business name.

Frequency: one message per call you make. There are no recurring messages, no reminders you did not ask for, and no marketing lists. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive another text from that number. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@bookedby9.com. Stopping texts does not affect any appointment you booked.

Your number

We use your mobile number only to send the message you asked for. We do not sell or share phone numbers for marketing, and we do not use them for any other purpose. Our Privacy Policy covers what we keep and for how long, and our Terms of Service cover the service as a whole.

Who sends the messages

BookedBy9, Camas, Washington. hello@bookedby9.com. Messages from a subscribing business's line are sent by BookedBy9 on that business's behalf and carry the business's name.
